Combine dry and sweet vermouth to make the perfect Manhattan cocktail. Add bourbon, bitters and morello cherry to complete the classic flavour combination

While most martinis are stirred, this one is shaken to open up the flavors. We've used a Bordeaux-blend vermouth, which has aromas of fruit, honey and pines

Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice cubes and shake for 10-15 seconds.
Double-strain the martini into a small martini glass. Twist the lemon peel over the glass to release its oils, then drop it in before serving.
