Save time and use shop-bought vanilla ice cream to make a stunning ice cream sundae flavoured with crunchy peanut butter and dark chocolate
Nutrition: Per serving
Melt 100g of the dark chocolate with the cream and 75g of the peanut butter together in a small saucepan over a low heat, stirring until the mixture is smooth and the sauce has thickened. If the sauce seems too thick, you can add a little more double cream.
Melt the remaining chocolate in a heatproof bowl in the microwave in short bursts. Or, do this over a pan of simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
Scoop some of the ice cream into four sundae glasses, then drizzle in half of the sauce. Repeat this, then top with another scoop of ice cream each. Drizzle over the melted chocolate which should set on the cold ice cream. Scatter over the chopped peanuts and serve.
